OverCrit is an independent magazine that focuses on free-to-play browser games for gamers in Australia. We don’t have ads, sponsored scores, or paywalls. It’s all about the fun of playing games.

Editorial policy

We write our reviews after at least 8 hours of playing the game on real hardware, like the Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 3060, and M2 Air for Mac-Safari. We buy our own subscriptions for testing and don't take any early access perks that could affect our scores.

The money-making options are just banner ads and affiliate links, which are marked as 'Play now' buttons. These links don't impact rankings or reviews. For analytics, we use Plausible, which keeps user data stored on Australian servers.
